John Beer (1860-1930) – original horse racing water colour dated 1909 – depicting The King's (Edward VII) Minoru winning the 2000gns at Newmarket 1909 from Phaleron (2nd) and Louviers (3rd) in the shadow of the sun. Minoru went on to win the Derby.
