Frances Le Marchant – Oil On Board – Mayrac, France c1960

Born in Lincolnshire his full title was Sir Francis Le Marchant, Bart. He studied at Byam Shaw school of drawing 59/62 then Royal Academy Schools 62/66. Landscape and Architecture were his two main themes in his painting. he had shows at the RA Summer Exhibitions, Upper Grosvenor Galleries and Leicester Galleries and various others . Original purchase letter 1996 bought for £3500.
