J Barclay, A 19thc Watercolour of Horses in a Stream Landscape
J.Barclay was the pseudonym for the illustrator Horace Hammond who lived in Birmingham. Most of his scenes are in watercolor but he was also known to paint in oils. He worked all over the Uk and many of his scenes are of the Scottish Highlands. He exhibited between 1884/88.
