Karl Heilig - Large Oil on Canvas - Monk Bell Toiling

A Large Oil on Canvas Signed by Karl Heilig of a monk Bell Toiling probably one of the biggest paintings he did, has had restoration professionally as can be seen from back picture and has some craquelure which  again can be seen in pictures 

Karl Heilig (1863-1910) German of Karlsruite. Heilig was a "painter of the Jugendstil" . He was a painter and illustrator. He studied at the Karlsruhe Academy of Arts and subsequently became the head of the Artist Association. He had exhibitions at the Glaspalast in Munich in 1898, 1899 and 1904 and other exhibitions in Berlin, Düsseldorf and Baden-Baden . He died 13th November 1910.
