A Pair of 19th Century gilt bronze ormolu candelabra.
Intricately detailed with Griffins at the base leading up to a swirled pedestal and culminating in ornate candle holders and a central eternal flame.
Ormolu refers to the gilding technique whereby high-carat gold mercury is applied to a bronze object, before the mercury is fired off in a kiln to leave an opulent gold coating.
