This is an attractive Italian breakfront bookcase of Italian origin and dating from the Early 20th Century, Circa 1920, this bookcase is influenced by English breakfront bookcases of the Early Nineteenth Century. The glazed doors enclose an arrangement of two shelves for each section, with two glass shelves sides and two wooden shelves central with the whole painted in a Regency red . The central top piece and bottom cupboards all have a key for locking.. The below cupboards all have an individual shelf. The whole would be very suitable for display, whether it be porcelain, objects, or books. The top half comes completly apart for ease of transport and delivery.
