A Good Sized Gilt Arched Overmantel Mirror

A handsome large-scale overmantel mirror with an elegant rounded arch and warm distressed gilt finish. The moulded frame has been decoratively aged with an attractive crackled and rubbed finish, giving the mirror the character of an older piece while working equally well within traditional or contemporary interiors. The generous rectangular proportions and softly curved top make this an excellent statement mirror for positioning above a fireplace or console table. The simple architectural form allows the beautifully aged-effect gilding to take centre stage. Late 20th c.

Condition: Good overall condition. The gilt finish is intentionally distressed and crackled throughout as part of the design, with variations in colour and finish. Minor marks and signs of use may be present. Please refer to the photographs for full condition.
